Our computer system is being combined with Hackwood and Gillies on 20th July and therefore we will not have access to patients’ medical records from midday on 20th July – midday on 23rd July. We are therefore operating a ‘duty team only’ appointment system during these times.
From 6th August, we will be operating a new appointment system whereby patients will be able to book GP appointments 2, 4, 7 and 30 days in advance. We will no longer be offering ‘release on the day’ appointments but will have a much larger duty team managing the on the day workload. The GPs will be carrying out these routine appointments from the buildings that they current work from, i.e. Camrose GPs will still be working from Camrose.
Whilst the computer systems are being combined, we will be restricted on how far in advance we can offer patients an appointment. This is because we have to manually input all of the appointment data from the old systems so we are keen to keep the amount needing to be manually input to a minimum.
We apologies for the inconvenience that will unavoidably be caused during this time and we would like to thank all of our patients for your understanding.
