We would like to inform you that as of April 2018 we no longer offer our ‘extended hours’ appointments and the telephone service between the hours of 6:30pm and 8pm on Monday evenings and between the hours of 8am – 11am alternate Saturday Mornings.
However; we have changed the service to what we call ‘Improved access’ so we now offer GP pre-bookable appointments Monday – Friday 6:30pm -8pm and every Saturday 8-11am. In addition to this, we are offering Nurse appointments, Monday to Friday between the hours of 6:30pm and 7:30pm, and every Saturday morning between 8am and 11am. We have also started to offer a limited amount of ‘same day’ GP appointments, Monday-Friday between 6.30pm and 8pm. These ‘same day’ appointments are booked by the duty team as they are for patients that need to be seen the same day but do not require urgent treatment. Please note that during improved access hours our phone lines are not open.
The improved access appointments are shared between the patients within our Primary Care Home; Camrose Medical Partnership, Gillies Health Centre and The Hackwood Partnership. These clinics are staffed by Clinicians from all three Practices but the clinics are based here at Camrose Medical Partnership.
We hope that the improved access service will deliver a further enhanced service from extended hours. However, it is important to note that this service is a pilot and will be continually reviewed.
